September 21, 2006 – Xceleon Technologies
to exhibit it’s HyperBac product for Oracle on Windows and Linux, which reduces
storage costs and increases data security for Oracle database customers
Xceleon Technologies, a member of the Oracle® PartnerNetwork, today announced
it will be exhibiting the HyperBac for Oracle product at the upcoming Oracle
OpenWorld 2006 conference in San Francisco.
HyperBac for Oracle is disk based backup and recovery software which leverages
upon native Oracle backup and recovery technologies such as Oracle Recovery
Manager and the Oracle Data Pump. HyperBac for Oracle reduces customer backup
and archival storage requirements while substantially improving backup times
and backup performance. This represents a substantial saving in storage related
costs (SAN, NAS and tape) as well as an improvement in service levels and
availability. HyperBac for Oracle also enables integrated AES data encryption
for disk based backup and export files, safeguarding sensitive customer data
and helping to meet statutory compliance directives such as HIPAA and SOX.
