releases compressed, encrypted backup software product - HyperBac, for the SQL
Server and SharePoint platforms
Xceleon Technologies, who includes several of the initial inventors and founders of
the LiteSpeed backup software product, have applied their years of experience
in SQL Server backup and high performance compression technology to release HyperBac for SQL
Server, a new generation SQL Server backup accelerator and security product.
In addition to performance rivalling all other products on the market for
compression and speed. HyperBac takes SQL Server backup technologies a step
further by:
Allowing users to use their native SQL Server backup methods, without
introducing extended stored procedures, command substitution or maintenance
plan conversion.
Allowing DBA's to create backup files in industry standard ZIP compatible
format, without compromising performance. This offers customers true vendor
independence and peace of mind.
Providing integrated compression and encryption for BCP, DTS and all other
methods
Providing integrated compression and encryption for native SharePoint backup
operations (HyperBac for SharePoint)
Providing integrated compression and encryption for Full Text Catalog as well
as Analysis Services backups
Offering integrated certificate based AES 128, 192 or 256-bit encryption,
safeguarding sensitive customer data and helping to meet statutory compliance
directives such as HIPAA and SOX.
