extends the HyperBac backup product to MySQL, DB2 and Sybase
Xceleon Technologies, a provider of high performance, secure database backup
software with integrated compression and AES encryption, has released HyperBac
for MySQL, IBM DB2 and Sybase.
HyperBac for MySQL, DB2 and Sybase extend the benefits of HyperBac including
75-90% compression, 50-70% backup time reduction, backup device encryption with
AES technology and seamless recovery to MySQL, DB2 and Sybase users. HyperBac
is disk based database backup and recovery software which leverages upon native
DBMS backup and recovery technologies. HyperBac software reduces customer
backup and archival storage requirements while substantially improving backup
times and backup performance. This represents a substantial saving in storage
related costs (SAN, NAS and tape) as well as an improvement in service levels
and availability. HyperBac also enables integrated AES data encryption for disk
based database backup and export files, safeguarding sensitive customer data
and helping to meet statutory compliance directives such as HIPAA and SOX.
HyperBac for MySQL, DB2 and Sybase are available for the Windows and Linux x86
(all distributions) platforms. In addition, HyperBac for MySQL is freeware with
